Using a Hammock... |
Our hammocks are available in many different styles and colours, but the overall use for each is generally the same. They are created to provide a comfortable and relaxing lounging experience and must be used for sitting or laying down only. Do not attempt to stand, spin , flip or turn over while using hammocks. Hammocks are not designed for this purpose and may not withstand this improper use. Light swinging is possible, but keep in mind that it is not designed to be a swing, so constant vigorous swinging is not recommended. Please monitor children's use at all times as well. NiCana is at no time responsible or liable for any injuries incurred from use of our products.

| Basic Caring For Your Hammock... |
With proper care your NiCana hammock will provide you with years of enjoyment and relaxation. All hammocks are made of 100% cotton yarn and are 100% hand made. Because of this they may eventually fade over the years, depending on the colour you choose. To prolong fading, please avoid leaving your hammock outside at all times. It is a good idea to bring your hammock indoors when it rains or snows, etc. You can increase it's life by storing your hammock in a clean and dry area during the seasons you are not using it. Keep hammocks away from all pets that may chew or nest in rope. Wash your hammock in cold or lukewarm water, with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Hang your hammock to dry completely before use. Do not use strong chemicals, cleaners or bleach on any part of hammock. Avoid using your hammock when it is wet to prevent stretching. If it gets wet, simply allow it to dry completely and then resume using it (drying time out doors takes about 1 hour in sun, depending on humidity level). Fading of wood stain is a natural occurrence and will take place when left in sun.

| Additional Care Tips... |
All hammocks are made of multiple yarns tightly woven and crochet together to give them their luxurious look and feel.. To maintain their quality avoid wearing shoes and other items that might hook or snag the hammock (like large buttons, belts, etc.). Breakage of yarn may occur when hooked and pulled by these items. If a breakage in the yarn does happen, simply take the two yarn ends and tie them together tightly.
